If you're not familiar with líllébaby, let me briefly tell you why you want to be. Like...immediately. First, I'll start by saying that I've tried multiple baby carriers over the past 4 years. Some, I've hated. Some, I've felt apathy toward. For a while, I was in love with the Beco--but then I met líllébaby at MommyCon, and I haven't looked back since. Here are the highlights that made me switch my allegiance:
- No infant insert. You guys, if you've tried to use an infant insert before, you know this is HUGE. In my opinion, inserts are a giant pain in the ass. They make babies hot, they can be bulky, and they make taking baby in and out of the carrier a bigger to-do than it needs to be.
- Fabric. Maybe it's the seamstress in me, but fabric quality is a big factor to me. Not only are there some seriously fabulous designs available, the fabric is also wonderful. I personal have an Organic Complete, and it is seriously like butter. I sometimes wish I was a baby so I could take a nap in the soft, buttery embrace of a líllébaby....
- Breathability. Ok, I live in Texas, where it gets very hot. My kids and I are hot-natured. Add those things together, and breathability is a huge factor in family happiness with babywearing. Even comparing the líllébaby Organic to the Beco Soleil, I noticed a difference. I can only imagine that the Airflow is even more amazing.
- Customer Service. The líllébaby folks are amazing. It's like talking to...you know...real people. I know, I know. Hard to believe, right? But they're parents too, and they get it. In fact, last year they jumped in at my last minute request and donated a carrier for me to give away to raise money for my Post Partum Progress Climb out of the Darkness. I can't say enough how much I LOVE this company.
If you'd like to read a review of the Airflow in particular, head over to A Walk in the Park Family Baby Products and read her review of the redesigned Airflow Complete (note: the giveaway is for the Original Airflow, not the redesigned, which has dual buckles and a pocket but is not quite available for purchase yet). Then, when you see how amazing it really is, come back here to make sure you've completed every entry option to give you an edge toward winning one of your very own!
